Legrand Care participated as a Gold Partner in the V National Congress on Dependency and Health in Spain

The leading event in the social and health sector.

To engage with key stakeholders in the social and healthcare sectors, showcase its advanced telecare ecosystem, and exchange ideas, Legrand Care participated in the V National Congress on Dependency and Health under the theme Time for Innovation. Social and health care requires solvency, initiative, and investment. Are we prepared?

The Congress had the participation of nearly 40 speakers, who gave 14 individual presentations and five round tables, in which the main challenges and opportunities detected in the social and health sector were analysed. Specifically, issues related to investment in healthcare have been addressed; inspections and quality control; socio-health coordination; home help; mental health; healthcare in nursing homes; technology and innovation; neurorehabilitation; excellence in care; senior living; development and expansion of geriatric groups; innovation and emerging companies.

The conference program of presentations was accompanied by an exhibition area, made up in this edition of nearly 40 stands, in which the main companies providing products and services showed their most innovative solutions.

The Legrand Care stand focused on its advanced digital telecare ecosystem: NOVO Family and its social and health services management platform: Care 360. Numerous visitors were interested in learning about the company’s developments. Representatives from Legrand Care’s distribution channels in Spain also visited the stand.

For the first time, the Congress incorporated an “Innovation Theater”, in which partners and exhibitors were able to show key visitors their main innovations in attention to dependency.

Gonzalo Castellanos López, Sales Manager of Southern Europe and America of Legrand Care and Serafín Quintanilla, Senior Product Manager, Independent Living of Legrand Care gave the presentation “Care 360, preventive and predictive technological solution” where they emphasized the evolution of Care 360, a 100% cloud solution, capable of managing an end-to-end telecare service and creating preventive and predictive care plans, centered on the person with a 360-degree view of the user. Likewise, they explained all the details about the NOVO ecosystem, designed to create connected homes and allow users to live in their homes safely and autonomously for as long as possible.

Furthermore, the Congress featured a captivating and inspiring session headlined by Dr. Roberto Canessa, a survivor of the 1972 Andes plane crash. His powerful message of resilience, altruism, teamwork, and unwavering belief in the impossible deeply resonated with attendees from the socio-health sector where these values are essential in confronting the challenges of dependency.

The V National Congress on Dependency and Health by Alimarket reaffirmed its status as the premier gathering for the entire socio-health sector. Held on February 19, 20, and 21 at IFEMA (Madrid), the congress was organized by Alimarket and Nebext Publications in collaboration with Inforesidencias.
