Legrand Group España has obtained the high-category certification of the National Security Scheme (ENS)

Thanks to compliance with the rigorous security requirements established by the National Security Scheme (ENS, by its acronym in Spanish), “Legrand Group España” has achieved the ENS certificate in its highest category. This scheme, which covers the three levels of certification, recognizes that the “Legrand Group España” information system meets the most demanding standards in terms of security. 

Antonio Palmero, Head of IoT Cloud Operation and Services at Legrand Care, explains that ‘the information system for the provision of social and healthcare services at Legrand contains confidential information about our clients’ end users, such as their personal data, health, and location. The ENS high-category certification guarantees that this information is protected against unauthorized access, unauthorized modification or destruction, unavailability, and falsification or impersonation.” 

The National Security Scheme, applicable to the entire Public Sector, as well as to suppliers that collaborate with the Administration, offers a common framework of basic principles, requirements, and security measures for adequate protection of the information processed and the services provided, to ensure access, confidentiality, integrity, traceability, authenticity, availability and conservation of data, information and, services used by electronic means that they manage in the exercise of their powers.
